When Luvs came out with their new ad campaign from Saatchi & Saatchi, entitled, “Second Kids”, I couldn’t stop laughing. Having a background in advertising and marketing, I am pretty particular about what I consider effective advertising. I don’t know if they increased their diaper sales, but they definitely did their research and captured the mind and mood of a second-time mom in a funny and celebratory way, making us feel connected and human, rather than the dreaded “Super Robo Mom”, which we all know is impossible to achieve.

My favorite spot is “Sanitize”.  Not that there was anything wrong with us simply wanting to do our best.  Just as anyone, who starts on a new venture, it takes awhile  to learn the ropes, develop confidence, and prioritize what’s most important for your individual child and for yourself. Unfortunately, as a first time mother, it seems that almost every aspect of child care had to be significant, as motivated by fear and love.

I am surprised they didn’t do one for doing a separate load of laundry for the baby clothes. Ha, ha, ha. Now my family is happy to have any clean clothes.  I have listed them below for your viewing pleasure. Which one do you connect with the most? What commercial would you have liked to see?
